The basic pack
comprises four compressors, liquid receiver, oil system, control
panel and all pipework. Service access to the pack is only required
from the front, allowing it to be located in corners, against walls
or back to back. Bolt-on extension frames permit the addition of
more compressors to increase capacity, up to 10 per pack.
 The
basic pack is designed for indoor plantroom siting, but front, rear
and top fixing points facilitate the addition of acoustic cover
panels and access doors rendering the packappropriate for warehouse
locations, where low noise level are required. Alternatively, vario
may be supplied with weatherproofed acoustic panels, doors and a
walk-in access section, creating a compact and secure unit that
may be mounted on the roof or at the rear the store. Integrated
units may be supplied with pre-wired and piped to a selection of
condensers to meet site conditions relating to noise, size etc.
Total flexibility
of configuration has been the driving factor in the development
of vario, as pack and access systems simply bolt together, multiple
sections can be combined to form a complete outside plantroom, with
capacity tailored to demand. For example, a 40 scroll compressor
plantroom and full walk-in accesss, with the capacity to serve a
large supermarket, requires a footprint of only 4,8 x 2,5 m.
