The products manufactured in Saint Louis plant of HUSSMANN, a company founded in the United States, dominate nearly 40 % of the market in the USA. It was Hussmann that built the first patented meat display case in 1917.

In January of 1999 the American HUSSMANN, the biggest company in the world specialised in refrigeration in retail and wholesale, purchased the Spanish KOXKA. This acquisition brought the opportunity to supply the Hungarian and Eastern European markets with high quality refrigerating devices at favourable price. Soon after, Ingersoll Rand, another American firm, acquired HUSSMANN. In Hungary, the Hungarian branch HUSSMANN-Hungary Ltd. seated in Gyõr distributes, installs and services its merchandising equipment and freezing systems.

In general Copeland Scroll compressors are installed, but we are ready to install the type of our customer's choice.

We do our best to install group aggregates adjacent to the place of consumption (usually mounted on the roof) as well as to utilize heat-waste too. Sometimes waste-heat recovery produces the amount of energy sufficient to heat the entire supermarket. We believe low-cost operation definitely requires heating and air-handling to be designed together with retail refrigeration system to handle all parameters in a single frame of building engineering.
